Home Leadership Team Presenters JIM PUTMAN

Jim Putman is the Founding Senior Pastor of Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho. Since the church began in 1998, God has grown the church to 8,000 in weekly attendance. There have been 1800 baptisms in the last three years. There are over 600 small groups with more than 7,000 attending the groups weekly. Real Life has become the fastest growing church in the Pacific Northwest. The church has also started four new churches during the last three years.

Jim Putman’s passion is discipleship through small groups. His team has raised up most of the 80 person staff from within the congregation. His goal is to be the church that God designed it to be. Jim believes very much in a team concept of ministry and loves to see those he has raises up become all God made them to be. He believes that a good coach can coach anything—football, wrestling, basketball, or the church—so Jim’s goal is to be God’s coach. He has recently written the book “Church is a Team Sport” where he outlines the game plan for a pastor (the coach) to get his team (the church) involved in the most important game (helping people find Jesus as Savior and Lord).
