WASC Regional Accreditation. Credit for Londen Institute residencies is awarded through Hope International University. Hope holds regional accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Accredited status indicates that
Hope meets WASC’s Standards, demonstrates Core Commitments to Institutional Capacity and Educational Effectiveness, and devotes itself to periodic self-evaluation and ongoing institutional improvement.
ABHE Programmatic Accreditation. Hope also holds programmatic or accreditation by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). This accreditation is applicable to the following degree programs and majors:
- Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Biblical Studies, Associate Ministry, Children & Family Ministry, Intercultural Studies, Preaching, and Youth & Family Ministry
- Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Christian Ministry and Intercultural Studies
- Master of Arts degree with concentrations in Christian Leadership, Church Planting, Intercultural Studies, and Worship
Credit Transfer. Since
Hope holds both regional accreditation by WASC and professional accreditation by ABHE, credits earned through the Londen Institute are transferable to most other colleges and universities. However, students considering transfer should always check the specific transfer policies of the target school.
