Bachelor's Degree

The Londen Institute does not award degrees. However, students may apply up to 24 Londen credits toward a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry or Intercultural Studies from Hope International University. To earn the 120-unit Bachelor of Science, students must complete all degree requirements.

Designed for working adults, the Bachelor of Science degree may be completed totally online or through a combination of online courses and on-ground residencies. This unique, cutting edge program is designed to equip students to analyze a community and then bring God’s word to bear on that community in meaningful ways. It consists of:

  • A 3-unit Strategies for Success course that prepares adults to engage in college-level studies

  • A 43-unit General Education Core, which provides students with a strong Liberal Arts foundation for lifelong learning. All degree-seeking students complete required coursework in Written Communication, Oral Communication, Humanities and Fine Arts, Mathematics, History, Social-Behavioral Science, Natural Science, and Critical Thinking

  • A 48-unit Christian Ministry Major or Intercultural Studies Major

  • 26 units of General Electives

Some credits earned through the Londen Institute may fulfill requirements for the Major. All may be applied to the B.S. degree as General Electives, giving students an opportunity to expand and enhance their ministry major.

Degree-seeking students are eligible for federal student loans and other financial aid through Hope’s School of Professional Studies.
